Here is when Anthony Joshua will retire

Having recently announced his comeback, Anthony Joshua surprisingly knocked out the much-feared monster from Cameroon, Francis Ngannou, in the second round of his last fight in Saudi Arabia.

Having taken place in Saudi Arabia, the fight was attended by numerous personalities from the world of sport and beyond.

Anthony Joshua, who was in the throes of doubt, managed to give his fans hope by knocking out Francis Ngannou in the second round, who had already held his own against Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury, losing the fight by split decision.

After this new performance, Anthony Joshua can look forward to the title race, but he will have to wait for the outcome of the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

This eagerly-awaited bout, to be held in Saudi Arabia, will define the fighter in the heavyweight category who remains unbeaten.

Whether it’s Tyson Fury or Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, both fighters remain on a 0-loss record.

Aside from his title challenge, Britain’s Anthony Joshua recently spoke of his retirement date.

As a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show, Anthony Joshua looked back on his career of highs and lows, and spoke of his potential retirement date.

Retirement at 36?

At least, that’s what the British boxer let it be known. Currently aged 34, the British boxer said he wanted to give himself two more years, during which he will try to regain his titles, before laying down the gloves once and for all.

« I’ve always said 35. I’ll be 35 in October. I’m thinking of going on for another two years, if my body holds out. »

With his statements, one could say that Anthony Joshua is at the very end of his career, and should then have a very whetted appetite for titles and victory, in order to clean up the division, by regaining the titles that were in his possession, before losing them to the Ukrainian phenomenon.

Perhaps a final gift from A Dieu would be for the British boxer to regain his titles, and end his career in the most beautiful of ways. Time will tell.
